This Is It

I've watched the Michael Jackson movie and it's really the closest thing one can get to seeing him in person. Don't download this one, watching it on the computer with campy sound systems will never beat the ones in the cinema.

I never knew how involved Michael was with his concerts. He was in charge of quite a fair share of the components of the concert. When you see him dance and sing on stage, it doesn't just end there, you're not just seeing him dance and sing, you're also seeing his ideas, his vision.

Then it dawned on me halfway across the show that the person I was looking at on the big screen has already had his body cut open, organs removed, brains removed, probably lying somewhere 6 feet below ground level and it saddens me... The man is no longer.

The movie, or concert to be, was great but some of my favourite songs were left out. Stranger in Moscow, Will you be there, Dangerous, You are not alone, Heal the world, Ghost were apparently not what the fans wanted to hear.

And 110 minutes of Michael Jackson and not one second of Moonwalk?! How can that be?!

In the spirit of Holloween, let me dedicate you an apt song!

Rejected

I feel so bored. I just got an email from Sharyl telling me that the quota for the Japan trip this December is hit and that I've been turned down. I don't know if it's because they have blacklisted me for constantly asking them Japanese exchange students about the war and if Japan is all about eating sushi and going for onsen (spring bath) as how it's commonly portrayed on TV. But really, what common topic can we talk about with Japanese people other than these 2?

Or maybe it's because I sent in my application late or my application may have been overlooked when I sent it in earlier. Whatever the case, I have nothing to look forward to this December anymore. Life suddenly becomes meaningless again. Unless someone proposes a group trip overseas to cities 3000km and beyond. That rules Bangkok out haha bye.

Kinda moved

• The exams are under 5 weeks away from now and I am at least 1 topic behind every module
• Facebook provides a blogging alternative through tweeting and, in a way, forces people to read your "tweets" whether one likes it or not
• Given the above 2 conditions, blogging here becomes a lot less attractive
• Problem is, some time ago I spent $2.99 on a blogging application for the iPhone
• I will still blog here eventually when I have the time
• in the meantime, there will be facebook which can be quite difficult to get off from, especially if you are an iPhone user

Drool

I drooled in my sleep last night. My face was all wet but I was too indulged with my sleep and dream to feel disgusted. And I hate that morning urgency to pee. Must stop drinking at night.

Oh and I just fixed my timestamp thingy to GMT+8. The previous setting was GMT-8 which made all my posts seem like 16 hours before! @_@

We were THAT innocent

All this meant nothing to me as a child. Balls were just balls. Twangiers were just twangiers. Maracas were just maracas.

Nightmare revisited

Feeling a sudden rush of emotion right now. I know what exactly is causing it but the worst part is that there is no one right to talk about it with.
